also a new description - different colored beard, cut shorter, and he's gained a lot of weight

Perhaps he's been to Michael Jackson's plastic surgeon as well and now resembles Britney Spears.

Seriously, the allegedly changed looks might be spin to cover his death and replacement with a guy who looks somewhat like him except for the beard, weight, etc.

Mansoor Ijaz is as straight a shooter as they come in that neck of the woods. Has never pulled punches on Bin Laden or Sadam, has always asserted that they various terrorist organizations had bonds and worked together.

It's been reported that the majority of Al Qaida deputies that fled Afghanistan were has setup shop in Iran. The administration knows this. If you take a look at Iran on a map you will see with our new bases in Iraq we have them surrounded.

Right after 9/11 Rumsfeld, etc. talked about finishing our war with Iraq.

Then we got the present in the mail.

The real story, IMO, is how the press would fail to follow up on all the stories about Zawa and others being in Iran. Hell, the Iranians ADMITTED IT! No follow ups. Our media is a joke.

But heck, even the Turkish govt. is coy. For the recent bombers they keep trying to plant the word "Afghanistan" into the discussion, and avoid Iran.

Time to start supporting Azeri independence movement in Iran, I think...

Another alternative...the release of the Iranian info will make it harder for the Eurocrats and their UN assets to green-light the Iranian nuke problem. What will Chirac do, tell his people the truth that Iran should proceed because French Oil companies just got some lucrative oil drilling contracts?

As far as rolling in, Ijaz said Iran was planning on sending the Republican Guard into Afghanistan in the winter

In the meantime bin Laden's terrorists will continue to rock Iraq, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc. to both distract the world and occupy our attention.

"If a gamble, the Iranians have seriesly misunderestimated the guy on the other side of the table. This President and this administration is leaning forward."

Yup. ...and, if anyone thinks the 130,000 troops in Iraq are just standing around waiting to get shot are wrong. Think, air bases, fuel depots, food stores and etc.

This is George W. Bush of the United States. Come out with your hands up and your belts off. Oh, and please pull Osama's dead carcass behind you.

Just like the memo that about OBL and Saddam that Fox reported. I will wait for the DOD or State Dept. to confirm, thanks.

Where's the OBL is still dead crowd?

No Axis of Evil? Baathists and Al-Qaeda working together in Iraq, directed by Bin Laden in Iran. Where are the "experts" who said this scum would never work together?

The mediots and their so-called experts anger me with this ridiculous assertion no end. It obvious to every American with a brain in there head that the two forces are united by their hatred of the US and have been for some time. That's why the vast majority of American's have believed Saddam had some roll in 9/11 despite the lack of any unimpeachable evidence.

Americans know in their gut what their up against. Some mediots and intellegence agencies overanalyze everything.

I wouldn't put it past Chirac. Even if he wanted to "help" find bin Laden, he doesn't have the spine. No French soldier should ever have to die on his watch. Americans in body bags make him gleeful. He is the definition of anti-American pond scum.

OK, now this makes things interesting if it's true. The Iranian mullahs are a lot of things, but they are NOT stupid. They're barely keeping the lid on a lot of internal dissent in their own country, they know that they're close to being in our crosshairs, they know they have zero chance of winning any sort of conflict against us. They also know that if we did try direct military action against Iran, it would be a hell of a lot bloodier and nastier for BOTH sides than the invasion of Iraq. (Iran is a lot bigger, the terrain is much tougher, the population is larger, and an invasion would probably unite the country in a nationalistic fervor.) Plus, for now, we're too tied down in Iraq to think about Iran.

Bottom line--the mullahs probably know they really shouldn't goad us any further, but they have time before they'd have to worry about getting Saddamed. The Bush Administration, also not being stupid, isn't going to take military action against Iran except as an absolute last resort...but they WILL support the Iranian resistance, continue their PR against the government, sanctions, all that stuff.

So, maybe the mullahs want to buy some more time and get Washington off their backs. What better way to do that than to deliver Osama and Omar's heads to W, Federal Express? Might Iran sell them out in the mullahs' enlightened self-interest?

That makes sense and is definitely possible.

When I first saw it, I thought he meant that the source was not impeachable, meaning that it wasn't a government official. Then I went and looked up the definition of "unimpeachable", which apparently means "unquestionable". I could probably spend more time analyzing what Ijaz just said than on analyzing a Bin Laden tape :).

This is great news if it's true. Why? Because now Binnie has been pinpointed down to one country. If he was in Afghanistan or Pakistan, we'd never find him.

Now, we have to find out who to bribe in Iran....or figure out a way to turn the screws really hard on the government to give him up....or to pinpoint where's he's staying, pinpoint the building, pinpoint what bed he's hiding under.....and then drop a smart bomb. Ka-Plooey!
