Merciful Heavenly Father,
Surround this little Angel and help all of his systems to grow in size and strength before the May 18 surgery date. Father, intercede, and let that esophagus be the proper length so that the doctors do not have to use a portion of the intestine. We accept with gratitude your intercession and willingness to intercede according to thy Will, for we have seen miracles abound when we gather together in prayer.
Surround DL and all her nursing colleagues and the doctors and other medical professionals caring for Angel. Guide them all and inspire them as to the proper actions and interventions this little one needs.
Surround the parents and family of Angel and comfort them while they hold vigil for him. We thank you for the team of angels who works with Angel, and all of the patients in NICU. Thank you for the team of angels you have assigned to each of the medical professionals in that hospital and all others.
We thank you and praise you Father, for the gift of Life. We ask that if it is according to thy Will, Angel's life will be long and full of opportunity and promise. Let this which we have called forth for Angel also be poured out on any and all who are in a similar situation of need.
Amen

TEXOKIE, thank you for that beautiful prayer for Angel.
Now, you guys; I had a minor miracle happen today. I went as a delegate to the State Convention in Phoenix. I didn't have my name in contention for one of the delegate or alt. delegate slots to go to NY, but decided at the last minute it wouldn't hurt to try, so I asked one of my friends to nominate me from the floor.
GUESS WHAT!?! I GOT ELECTED to the last slot for alt delegate. I'M GOING THE NATIONAL CONVENTION!!!! (God willing). I'm SOOOOO excited!!!!

Thank you and all others who prayed for Angel. I heard from his mom and another nurse since I was off today. He had his surgery which the doctors thought would last 8-12 hours. It only lasted 4-5 hours, and they were able to connect his esophagus. PRAISE GOD!!!!
He's already off the vent. I'm going to a staff meeting so I'll be able to see him. I AM SO RELIEVED!!!
Thank you again for your prayers. Another miracle!!
