I'm wondering if I could selfishly ask for prayer? I hate even asking for it, especially in the midst of so much heartache. My family could really use some prayers for the sale of our house. We are building a bigger house b/c our family has outgrown this one, and it's moving faster than what we thought. We still have yet to have any offers on our current house, and we have just 8 weeks left until the new one is complete. It's simply a buyer's market in Houston right now, so things are tough.
You MAY ask for prayer for the sale of that house and NO, it's NOT selfish!

There is no such thing as a "selfish" prayer or request for prayer.
Paul said, "Pray without ceasing." God is never too busy to take care of the mundane things in our lives.
Like the poor, heartache will always be with us. It's part of life on this earth.
In the meantime, we have to live and do things like sell houses.
I pray that God will ease the sale of your house for the benefit of your family.

Do you get land too? As in enough yard around the new home so that you have privacy from neighbors?
