LOL!

"This Meltzer guy screamed out, "The only way to save this country is to get rid of George Bush!" The Times reports that someone "one-fourth Meltzer's age" screamed back, "Right on, brother!" Is this the impression you get when you watch the media video of these protestors? Unless you scour wire photos, you never see the Soviet flags, pro-Castro shirts or 100-year-old Marxists. These human antiques were upset that the cops showed up, because they claim to be "anarchists" who want no authority. In fact, they want to put themselves in the position of authority. "

"We were just standing there, totally peacefully," she said. "I was honestly looking this guy in the eye with a peace sign, and then all of a sudden, boom. There was no provocation."

A little hint for getting along with people: TWO fingers are used to make the peace sign.

Don't you read any? More jobs have been created in the last 2 years than in the last 20.

The only jobs leaving are the minimum wage low skilled jobs...testiles, assemblers, etc

People should get off their fat asses and get some training if they want a better paying job. And even if you don't want to go to college for four years there are for example body work mechanics jobs that are going begging paying 40,000 and up in the most economically depressed area in the country - Buffalo NY.

These unionists and others are simply playing on the left wing socialist agenda they have. Don't be fooled by the jobs rhetoric.

I love the smell of cracking hippy skulls in the morning!

Seriously, these "non-violent, non-cooperators" got away with murder during their protestings in the past. I was sick and tired of seeing these S.O.B. turning violent, looting businesses, etc.

It is nice to see they no longer have the upper hand during these protests. As long as they keep gathering to infringe on law-abiding citizens' rights, the authorities should have the right to stop it immediately.

Soon the protestors will permanently realize that cops are no longer going to settle for TKOs, but rather a KNOCK OUTS (and there will no longer saved-by-the-bell get out of jail free cards issued).

Trajan88

p.s. I've been hearing about a crowd-control weapon the military has been testing... it is like a giant microwave gun, that when aimed and fired at crowds results in the target feeling like their skin is on fire - I can't wait for that to go on line - one has no choice, but to run away. Of course the ACLU and other commie-front organizations will classify that tool as cruel and unusal.

These unionists and others...

Do you bother to do any research before you react? Did you know, for instance, that 13.5% of all manufacturing employees are represented by unions. However, 45% percent of the police, firemen and municipal employees are in unions. Those cops you saw bust up the demonstration are probably all in a union. Do you advocate the breaking of police unions, as well?

I was watching a little on C-span. I didn't see any of the protesters causing any trouble. This is Jeb Bush's "pre-emptive" policy.

I watched it on the internet, Channel 10 out of Miami I believe, and the little turkeys went after the tall metal security fences with grappling hooks, started burning the orange plastic "snow fence" in other places and linked arms and tried to "push" the police back. All indications that they all trace their genetics back to the shallow end of the gene pool. They went looking to instigate a physical confrontation and they got one. Too bad if Mister Policeman or Ms Policewoman is not their Mommie and won't honor their whining childish excuses. There are times you get a "wood shampoo" from the police because you've earned it and when you're in a mass civil disturbance that you have caused, you have earned it.

Funny how NOW their happy to have a lawyer represent them for this, but wouldn't wait to have a lawyer challenge "restrictions" on their march. That's because they didn't want it resolved in court, they wanted their physical confrontation. I hope the courts take that into account.

I've been involved in anti union stuff for a while but here goes again:

Unions serve no purpose in this day and age. They are simply vehicles for corruption and incompetence and mediocrity. The unions have been taken over by tbe Left wing of this country (no doubt about it) and as for the cops and othe public employees especially the teachers - their mega salaries are the single biggest cause for the increasing bankruptcy of our cities.

NO cop should be making 90,000 a year + for his work, no matter what Hollywood attempts to portray.

One bullet, one body. That is gun control at its best.

As for the Miami cops, last I checked, it is illegal to carry gasoline in unapproved containers in all 50 states, and DC. The cops were just protecting the citizens from themselves. (/laughter off)

the only teachers here who make $90K a year are university professors. The public school teachers in Oklahoma start at about $26K, only administrators even approach the $90K figure. Other than that, I think I agree with you, mostly. Unions in this day and age are as useful as teats on a boar hog. IF the unions would keep their eye on the ball, i.e., keeping their people from being unfairly penalized, taken advantage of, etc., as unions were formed to do in the first place, they would have a good place in today's society. Since they don't, they don't.

At least three officers and about 140 demonstrators were treated for injuries in Miami. Most of the injured protesters were treated by medics affiliated with protest organizers.

The fact that the "injured" were treated by organizers tells me that there were probably only 12 injuries, and those were probably drug induced.

You have managed to avoid the question. If 13.5% of manufacturing jobs are union how can they have any effect on our economy?

It must be nice, by the way, to able to look down on people you see as less than you because of the work they do to earn a living.

Calm down, there are unions and then there are unions.

Some unions make sure employees receive fair treatment from their employer. But the ones who make the news, at least, are the ones like the teachers' unions, which do things like prohibit teachers from spending extra time after school helping students, oppose merit pay, and oppose reforms that would improve public education. There are the dock workers on the Left Coast who use their monopoly to jack their own exorbitant wages, leeching blood from honest companies and consumers across America. There are the unions who harass, intimidate, and assault anyone who doesn't want to join, and who are ready to kill anyone who crosses a picket line.

Show me 10 union leaders and I'll show you at least 5 pieces of scum.
