I escaped Khalifornistan in August, 2003. I sold my overpriced house in Sacramento, and took the money and ran... all the way to Nashville, Tennessee. I have never been happier. I think TN may very well be God's promised land. If you've ever spent a summer evening sitting on a back porch overlooking freshly mown grass, feeling the breeze blowing through the trees, listening to chirping crickets, sipping an iced tea, and watching the fireflies light up, you would agree with me.
