"The day that Terri can say "Mama," and the day she eats on her own is the day that"......
monkeys will fly out of your butt?

I'm not sure if you meant this the way I took it.... if you believe Terri's life has no worth, or that it isn't productive just because she can't say "Mama" or eat on her own, I beg to differ. There are a lot of children with cerebal palsy and other debilitating diseases, a lot of folks who have suffered strokes, have parkinson's, and many other ailments, etc., who are very productive, valuable and loved individuals. Secondly, Terri has not been given the therapy that the aforementioned generally receive without question and if she had, may have been able by now to say "Mama" and eat on her own.

I meant that it is not going to happen.
