CLARK APOPLECTIC ABOUT NEW RNC AD - Calls for it's removal
FOX NEWS
Posted on 11/23/2003 4:05:41 PM PST by ODDITHER
Did anyone else catch Clark being interviewd on Fox News? He was almost hyperventalating as he called on the President and the RNC to pull the ad and not run it any more. He said "How dare they say that the candidates running for election are for terrorism."
After reading the text of the Ad, I have concluded that he must be feeling a tad guilty, because the Ad doesn't say anything about them supporting terrorism. Although it should!! Because that is what they are doing.

This is the only line that even mentions the Bush- and America- haters.
Some call for us to retreat, putting our national security in the hands of others.
I suggest an ad that starts with just that line, and then shows the top two or three Dem candidates making exactly that case in videotaped soundbites. But it's probably better to wait till it's down to one candidate.

"He was almost hyperventalating..."
May I suggest he shove his head into a paper bag.
"...as he called on the President and the RNC to pull the ad and not run it anymore."
Dream on Clark! Besides, I don't need to see an ad to tell me that you are part of the problem when it comes to terrorism....you've proven that point better than any Republican ad ever could.

I didn't see Clark, but I saw Dashle this moring. He said the ad should be pulled too. That tells me they think it will be very effective. The ad did not say they were unpatriotic or un-American. Their twisted mindset is imagining that--or fabricating it.
One point about Dashle. He really slipped--twice. He said the ad was illegal, and then stopped himself. Later her screwed up again by letting the truth slip. He said he was going to fight Bush as "viciously" as he could. He corrected himself to "fight as vigorously" but the truthful addmission was already out there.

Excellent point. The ad doesn't mention Democrats at all.
So why do the Dems think the ad speaks about them?
Hint: Because that is what they are saying, exactly.
If the shoe fits...
If the Dems are such Patriots, why does it bother them that someone makes a point about "some call for us to retreat...", if it doesn't apply to them?
By complaining bitterly about the ad, THEY are the ones making it clear that THEY are the ones the ad is talking about, who want to put us all at risk.

"How dare they say that the candidates running for election are for terrorism." Sorry, Weasely...truth in advertising laws insist that the statement be made.

Just states the facts, and viewer can draw his own conclusion. They know they have not dumbed down the sheeple enough, or maybe too much. The ad definately appeals to emotion also, and the Dims realize their own weapon is being used against them. ;-)
