Czech president critical of EU

WASHINGTON, Nov. 24 () -- Czech President Vaclav Klaus says in an interview with UPI that Europe is moving toward a single political entity, which detracts from political accountability.

The Czech republic is a candidate for European Union membership, but in an interview with UPI's Arnaud de Borchgrave, Klaus made clear his distaste for the EU.

Sadly, that is virtually true. It should be a joy to watch the Euroweenies try to succeed with the EU. I hope it is a glorious failure.
