There is no record of how a person voted, but they can look up someone's voter registration to see what party they are affiliated with. And they can survey their members to see how they are voting.

It is an awful thing. I have a friend who works for the US Postal Service and he has told me that he is actually afraid to vote Republican because the union will find out.

I thought he was crazy at first, but I've heard other stories that make me believe him.
