Earthlink should do the same....
I can predict EXACTLY what will happen to anyone attempting to get anything even remotly unusual resolved by talking "live online chat" to one of their Indian "solution centers"...
Forget it...
Call a human in the U.S....bypass their online Indian assistance..

I recently had to call my credit card and found out that I was talking to someone in India. I began to wonder if I had a problem with the information they gave me and ended up in court over it, how would I deliver a summons to the person on the other line.
Well, to make a long story short, I contacted the bank's office in New York, and asked for someone that could help me that resides in the US. They actually helped me find a person that could help me in their New York office.
My cable company also has an indian call center. I called them about a technical question with my cable modem and could not understand a thing the "tech" said because of his thick accent." I had to call 3 times before I got someone that had an accent that was slightly less thick that I could sort of understand.
I think that the indian call centers will be gone in the next few years as the complaints rack up...time is valuable and people will vote with their pocketbooks on this issue.
