I can remember being stationed in Sasebo, Japan in the late 80's and early 90's. I'm not sure what year it was but Jackson was doing a concert in Fukuoka, Japan. And word got out that Jackson was driving down to Sasebo. He wanted to visit the elementary school on base. Anyway I didn't have a clue. I was going out for some early liberty and the gates had military police and Japanese police all over the place. To make a long story short I heard from a couple of the mothers the next day that they had all the kids in the gym and Michael came on the stage and the kids along with the mothers went nuts. Well all he did was take a good look at the kids for 15 minutes or so and then left, didn't say a word. I can still remember the mothers saying very strange. I thought the same.
