Explosives 'found in suspect's home' From correspondents in London November 28, 2003
EXPLOSIVE material was found at the home of an al-Qaeda suspect being searched by police in central England and has been removed safely, British police said today.
"We are confident that there is no longer a danger posed by explosives on the premises and work will begin to allow the local community to return to their homes as soon as is possible," a police spokesman said.
Earlier, Home Secretary David Blunkett said the man posed "a very real threat to the life and liberty of our country".
The 24-year-old was arrested overnight in Gloucester under Britain's Terrorism Act amid suspicions that he has links with Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network and, reportedly, "shoe bomber" Richard Reid.
Gloucestershire deputy police chief Martin Baker identified the suspect only as a British national of South Asian origin. He refused to comment on alleged links to Islamic extremists.

It's a thought. I did note the Yemenite gave up without firing a shot, a detail his associates elsewhere could not have failed to notice.

BBC has been on this case for hours. Well that's a relief, lol. I'll look forward to the BBC's soft-pedalling this domestic terrorism story, thanks.

Arrests...arrests....arrests....
I'm damned tired of hearing of arrests, and NOT hearing of executions of these freaking cockroaches...
Death! Death is what they seek and worship.....
Kill the bastards...

Death is what they seek and worship.....
True, why give it to them, a prefrontal lobotomy would be much more of a horror, they certainly deserve it.

Yes.

Good news from a law enforcement standpoint but the British citizenry had better wake up and take notice of all these Islamic mullahs and clerics freely advocating violence and hatred there before it's too late.

Although a "prefrontal lobotomy" with a JHP would be my choice of procedures, the senario with the "Beverly Hillbillies" you describe would prevent him from becoming the martyer he so lovingly tries to NOT be.
Maybe we should look into the many choices of "reality" shows and not pick on an ethnic group...
