All of America saw the man we all have come to know. Before today, most Americans have seen this President through the liberal filter we all know as the mainstream press. Today, America saw a leader who is willing to place himself in harms way in order to visit our brave men and women serving this country and thank them for their service and sacrifice. No Liberal filter was able to spin this today, because it played out right in front of our eyes before it could be edited.

This was a great day for our troops and a great day for America

I don't see it as arrogance-- I see it as desperation. Pure and simple desperation, and it makes me smile BIG!

All of America saw the man we all have come to know.

So true. And some are seeing the light of day while others have run into the shadows for another 4 years to hide. Still others are willing to bare all their stupidity by declaring this to not be such a big deal. I just have to laugh.

That's true and you make an excellent point. It's just that some of the things that come out of their mouths are just unbelievable

Just when I think they can't dig any lower

They keep digging

By the time George W. Bush turns to wave to all of us, as he is about to board Marine One for the last time, in January 2009. The world will be a safer place and our National Pride will be stronger than ever thanks to this man of vision. The Democrats will still be mis-underestimating him as they assume their place in history next to Neville Chamberlain and the other spineless worms who passed up the chance to defend liberty when evil was in plain sight.

Next thing you know, the lib press will say he just did this because he was copying X42 going to Somalia to visit the troops....no, wait....

Maybe next time they'll count the absentee ballots.

I'm sorry I missed all this last night, but I was spending time with my husband and 3 of my children, my sisters and family.

When I found out that the President had done this incredible thing........ INCREDIBLE thing......... I was totally, and completely overwhelmed.

What a courageous man! What a strong leader!

And I thought about my boy, away from home on Thanksgiving for the first time. He was no more than 5 minutes from this! Did he know then? Did he watch the plane fly out? I cannot WAIT to talk with him!!

No matter what, this President changed my whole day yesterday........transforming sorrow into joy. And I know that his visit lifted the spirits of my precious Army son, just by his presence in theatre, and my day was brightened.

What a President! What a Commander in Chief! What a MAN!!

I actually predicted he would do this :-)

And if you recall, I wholeheartedly agreed with you, and said he should do it before Christmas! :o)

(No ulterior motive in THAT, of course!)

A simple flight into Baghdad was not going to bring an end to the fighting, but this was a morale booster like this country hasn't seen in a looooong time. And not just for those brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for all of us. I am so proud of this man and so proud to defend him-- even more than ever before.

Amen, admiralsn! AMEN!!

Not only that, but the presstitutes and RATS will be trumpetting that "Bush Lied" when he said he was going to spend Thanksgiving in Crawford.
