President Bush made a surprise visit to our troops in Iraq today, he arrived on Airforce One at Baghdad International Airport just after dark and surprised some 600 soldiers before being served a full course traditional Thanksgiving meal. President Bush was greeted with a thunderous applause from the surprised troops that clearly touched the Commander-in-Chief

I was thrilled beyond words to see that Bush was willing and able to pull this off. It must have meant SO much to the men and women over there. Dubya was truly moved and touched, and it showed. We are Blessed to have him for our Commander in Chief. I know I am thankful.

It's amazing what lengths the looney left will go to trying to trash this president.

Only a small fraction of this country pays close attention to politics, the vast majority of Americans see what President Bush did as an extraordinary effort to thank the troops.

This was a shameless campaign ploy. It's even worse than the flight deck photo op. They brought troops who were not prompted to cheer the CinC and took advantage of the fact that they would do it spontaneously.

We should all be remorseful that W has ruined the Thanksgiving holiday for tommy d, the 9 dwarves, and poor hillary. She's stuck in Kabul, and she probably won't get her face on network tv.

If anyone else is feeling as sorry as I am, then let's all give a big HOOYA for W!

Ten bucks says the 'whiney-nine' candidates will be all over Sunday shows this weekend calling this a publicity stunt, equating it to the aircraft carrier landing.

Howard Kurtz has already been on CNN with those particular democrat talking points. He said that the president lied. He went on to compare today's visit to Iraq to the aircraft landing carrier, saying that while the aircraft carrier landing was a failure for the president, he would get political points for this. The aircraft landing a failure? Good grief, the denial these people are going through is amazing.
