Nobody can say that Bush doesn't reach out to the liberal press. These photos were taken by photographers from Reuters, AP, and Agence France Presse.

As expected the media is trying to turn this joyous, courageous and noble event into a deceptive, controlling, political photo op! Angers me! Where are the stories of Hillary's Photo Op?

I found this one as well- it's pretty cool. Note the way the one soldier has stuck his head in. They really feel comfortable with this CinC.

You can see that comfort level again here with the soldiers' arms around the Prez

I was thinking today, that W is probably going to go down as the "Soldiers' Commander-in-Chief" more so than Reagan even!

Reagan earned and held the respect and trust of the military, but W has also earned and is holding their love and affection.

It is truly joyous to see!

God Bless our troops and their Commander-in-Chief!

"I absolutely adore him."

Ohmigosh, that's just how I feel. That's just how I have felt ever since I became aware of him, at all. I truly see George W. Bush as one of the great presidents that God sends America once in a while.

Early in Bush's Presidency, there was an article of something he did that showed his respect for our military. I can't quite remember now what it was. I said to my wife at the time, "Here's a President who GETS it."

Today I remarked to her, "There are very few truly great men. George W. Bush is one of the very few."

I said to my wife at the time, "Here's a President who GETS it." Could you perhaps be referring to the time President Bush, after depositing his dog onboard Marine One, came back to the Marine sentry at the foot of the steps of Marine One and returned the salute? He had been unable to return it while carrying the dog.

I adore him, you adore him, and PKM adores him too.

So what if we're acting like school girls? We have excellent taste and every reason in the world for expressing our pride and love for our President Bush!

I wholeheartedly agree with your perfect statement:

"I truly see George W. Bush as one of the great presidents that God sends America once in a while."

...Or stop the AP and Reuters from putting a sarcastic face on it:

President George W. Bush drops a tear...

What the h*ll kind of "objective" expression is that?

Yes, hubby loves him too. And he's not too fond of too many, especially politicians.

Dubya, women love him, men like him. That's a winning combination!
