As a teacher I would say our job is to educate not to indoctrinate. We need to give students the education necessary to decide where they stand on an issue not how to think on an issue.

Never happen. I cannot stand to be in the same room as the NEA. They refuse to listen to anyting I have to say (not bad for a progressive group???). There isn't enough blood pressure medicine in the world to deal with that.

Another group, the AZPA (Arizona Professional Educators) has my loyalty. They are apolitical and feel that the purpose of education is, get this, to make kids smarter.
