Hummm....same thing happened this morning on "breaking news" on Channel 13, WTHR....hood and trunk of late model cadillac open with a body in the back seat burned beyond recognition whether male or female....strange.

Body in car that of New Yorker (Waterford-AP Dec. 4, 2003 2:15 PM)_ State police say the body of a man found in the trunk of a burning car in Waterford last Sunday was that 31-year-old New York man.
The man, who had been shot several times, has been identified as Gustavo Carrillo of New York.
Firefighters and police were called to a Target store off Route 85 near Interstate 95 Sunday afternoon. While firefighters were putting out the blaze, the car's trunk popped open and authorities saw the body.
The medical examiner has ruled Carrillo's death a homicide.

Body found in burning car near Edinburg (Texas)
April 21, 2004
Associated Press An autopsy has been ordered on a body found in a burning car southeast of Edinburg.
Firefighters last night responded to the blaze, then discovered a burned body in the rear seat.
Authorities say the body was so burned they're not sure if the victim was male or female.
The case is being treated as a homicide.
