Body found in burning car that ignited house fire

A body was found in a vehicle that burned this morning, igniting a townhome fire in west Houston.
The blaze was reported about 4:30 a.m. at a condominium complex on the Katy Freeway near Beltway 8, said officials.
Firefighters said the blaze began in a vehicle in the complex's parking lot, then spread to several other vehicles and into the complex itself.
The body, about which no details are known, was found about 5 a.m. in one of the burned vehicles. An autopsy will determine the identity of the victim and the cause of the death.
Firefighters extinguished the fire about 6 a.m. Six units at the complex were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

FRANCONIA, Va. -- Wednesday night, the body of an unidentified person was found after Fairfax County firefighters extinguished a car fire in Franconia, Va.
Police said firefighters were called to the Fleet Industrial Park in the 6500 block of Fleet Drive shortly before midnight Wednesday.
When they arrived, firefighters said they found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames in a parking lot next to a grassy area.
Authorities said firefighters discovered a man's body in the front seat of the car after the fire was put out.
Police said they know who the owner of the car is, and now they're working to identify the man.
Fairfax County Police detectives and Fairfax County Fire Marshals are investigating.
