You may want to upgrade this to breaking news...The US Attorney for New Jersey is well-known for his corruption fighting, and this can turn ugly.

Brit Hume just had a little blurb about this on Special Report. Bottom line: Dems dug into confidential files trying to find stuff to make NJ cops look racist and incompetent. Typical dirty tricks we've seen from Democrats and ignored by the press. Thank God for Fox News.

And all the traffic gets to go twice, not just once, through the same intersection in order to make a simple left turn.

Trenton is the capital of mental midgetry.

Convention committee seeks balance between commuters, safety
By Associated Press, 12/1/2003 16:39

BOSTON (AP) While Democrats are picking a presidential nominee at the FleetCenter in July, commuters will still need to get to and from work.

The Democratic National Convention Committee pledged Monday to make commuters' lives as painless as possible July 26-29.

''There's a balance that we need to achieve between keeping this building safe and secure and letting people live their lives here,'' committee chief executive Rod O'Connor said.

Interstate 93, which runs alongside the FleetCenter, is expected to remain open, said O'Connor.

''It's not our preference to close down everything so that Boston commuters can't move in an around the convention,'' he said.

Those who rely on public transit will notice more changes.

Beginning in March, the MBTA's Green Line stop at North Station will be closed to subway cars. The elevated structure above Causeway Street is being torn down a project planned long before Boston was chosen for the convention, T spokesman Joe Pesaturo said.

''We expect to have the elevated tracks dismantled before the convention,'' he said.

A system of buses will connect Haymarket, North Station, Science Park, and Lechmere stations.

The Orange Line subway will continue running through North Station up until the week of the convention, but won't make stops there during the four-day event.

Commuter rail lines that enter North Station at the FleetCenter also will continue, but will stop before reaching the building.

''They will not be permitted to come all the way into the platform,'' Pesaturo said. ''They will be stopped further out. That's what we're preparing for.''

What about the Foxnews Alert the other day. A big donor to Clinton is expected to be put away for 20 plus years on charges on illegal campaign money, fraud, etc. They showed him with Clinton in many pictures.

"Trenton is the capital of mental midgetry."

Just yesterday, I came from Yardley to Morris-something over that tiny rickety bridge into Trenton.

With no place to eat lunch on a Sunday, we went back into PA.

My point is, what is it with that stupid air holed steel bridge?

A friend of a friend, who is from Detroit, called them "The Jersey Circles Of Death'. ;-)

Which one is that? I usually take Rt 1 into Morrisville heading to Levittown. Nothing wrong with that one and there is the exit/entrance at Rt 13. My favorite 'rickety bridge' is at Dingmans.

My daily paper ( Gannett - owned ) was in the forefront of the "Let's lynch Christie Whitman" mob, and made sure every possible line of this deliberate smear was on page 1-above the fold,if humanly possible. They practically wet their pants with joy when they were able to publish a photo of the Governor pretending to frisk some black kid: a shot taken by the State Police, and stashed away in their files after the Governor thought about it and decided she didn't want that image publicized.

Today, the same paper GRUDGINGLY admitted-in a page 3 squib-that some questions had been raised about a State Police officer using his authority for political purposes.

I was tempted to write one of my sarcastic letters to the editors, but realized they wouldn't have a clue as to what I was talking about.

Could you imagine getting a courtesy left turn on a busy highway from a Jersey driver? Nope? Thus the need for jug handles. They actually work very well.

Dems dug into confidential files trying to find stuff to make NJ cops look racist and incompetent.

On a positive note [sarcasm], the number of shootings in New York City and northern New Jersey has escalated dramatically over the last year or so, after the New Jersey State Police were ordered to end "racial profiling" on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Word on the street is that you can tow a Howitzer up I-95 without getting stopped by the police, as long as you have a black man driving the car that's towing it.
