Several studies have shown that illegals use more in social services than they ever pay in.

Behind every illegal is a chain of so-called relatives waiting to get across the border if they have not done so already. When these relatives get across, they head for clinics and schools to get disability, WIC assistance, school lunches, then food stamps for malnourished children and so on. They frequently need expensive dental work and they always ask for interpreters. There are a host of government social programs that can help purchase clothes (up to $500) for job interviews, subsidies for buying autos, subsidies for housing, medical coupons and so on.

Illegals often get helped by relatives or friends of relatives working inside the social agencies.

This is all well and good if the numbers were say in the tens of thousands, but unfortunately the numbers are in the millions and tens of millions. That is too much. The foreign governments to the south encourage this illegal migration because it alleviates their social and economic problems, especially when money earned or handed out in the USA gets sent back across the border.

It is well known that many aliens have P.O. Boxes on the U.S. side of a border where they go to collect social security. They walk across the border, collect and cash a U.S. government check and then return.

In any event the illegal males work because it is difficult for them to qualify for any social benefits. Women and children find it much easier to qualify or slip past the qualifying criteria. Everyone of them is coached on what to say, how to lie, etc. The men that work frequently work for such low pay that their tax withheld is small, very small. But their women are taking full advantage of government handouts. When the numbers are added up, the illegals drain the system dry in comparison to what they put in.

The argument that illegals pay taxes and contribute to the social infrastructure is specious and it is made with the intention to deceive.

I agree that this is an outrage. Yes, I think the government has lied about the number of illegals in the country. There is too much Spanish for the numbers to be 20 or 30 million out a 270 million population.

This is probably the start of getting social security coverage in Mexico. This is Bush's plan.

The citizens of California have been allowed to voice their opinions twice, Prop 187 and the recall. Arizona will also voice their opinion. The problem is that most states don't have recall and citizens initiatives in their constitution.

The only way the rest of us have to object to this monstrosity invasion is writing and calling our reps. Americans who object are all being ignored. We get replies via form letters.

IMO, the "unmatched" payments should be distributed to the states that are shouldering the burden of illegal immigrant medical services.

Ditto on that.

"They must know that the information will never be corrected until they give us valid Social Security numbers," said one illegal immigrant quoted in the report.

Those committing felony document fraud should never hope to profit in any way from their crime by receiving Social Security checks. Those working by raking leaves for cash are a more benign type than those using and dealing in stolen documents and identity theft. Anyone caught presenting a stolen Social Security number should be deported immediately and barred from legal entry or legal immigration forever.

I agree the funds should filter back into funding for border enforcement or get rolled into the general SS fund. After some grace period.

Suppose a drug dealer has say, $5,000 in interest sitting in some account. Would the feds have any problems seizing it? Of course not. Why then the confusion about these ill gotten gains?

No, I don't think so. If the American people will wake up, it won't take a blown gasket to get the job done. However, if they don't, then a huge number of people are going to blow a gasket when they wake up and find they are an insignificant part of the whole. And, what good does it do for MY family to lose control?

Thanks for posting this.

This is Bush's plan. No doubt about it. This will be the destruction of the US or what is left of it. Today's news by the SCOTUS was not good.
