Where are all the embedded reporters we had when we moved into Baghdad? Why aren't the networks bringing this stuff to us live. I think that would be a great morale booster for the troops and for the country. People need to see our troops in action.

Where are all the embedded reporters we had when we moved into Baghdad? Ironically, embedded reporters would be in more danger if they were on these street patrols than they were during the run on Baghdad.

The reporters in Baghdad are "embedded" in the local hotel bars and get all their news by calling military headquarters or by relying on the reports of local Arab stringers who regularly bring back the Bathist's version of events.
