I agree, I have time for agiteachers. I come to Free Republic each day to learn, and I'm not afraid to admit when I have been wrong.

However, I have zero time for agitators who spout what appears to be the party line of the people who work 24/7 to take away the property rights. Just like I have zero time for my local agitators who claim to be conservative and then try to use the same old Green Mantras and clubs on me that the Greens who don't hide being Green do.

I'll certainly vouch for that! Even though I don't always agree with your point of view, you have been a joy to FReeperdom!!! You've taught me a thing or two and even brought me up short on occasion and given me much pause to think, as well.

Sometimes, I've gone away for awhile to sulk and consider, but after all... That's what a "Considerate Conservative" does, as opposed to a "Compassionate Conservative!" (grinning till my face aches)

I am working on something that may well help to explain Agitator's position on what he was stating. It is a lesson I did learn, and he brought the point across much better in chat than can really be done in the forum. It is a question/answer session.

I will have to work on it in allitle while, but rest assured gentlemen, Ag is far from being a watermelon, or a socialist! LOL, that is funny!

He defends all of our rights every chance he gets. Me thinks emotions got a wee bit out there. I do see all the reasons why, and this is why I have taken so much time to respond! I wanted to get as much facts as possible so that the emotions would go away, and the way the government does things to us pointed!!! Ok, please, a truce!!!!!

Now don't be like that! I think you were talking on one plain and we were enjoying the article on a different plain. There has simply been a misunderstanding or the wierd phase shift that sometimes occurs due to the limits on expression and communication in this non-chat environment.

If you're really a good "agitator" you shouldn't get mad, you should get even!!! I'm really disappointed in your "swan song" due to oversensitivity. I was looking forward to finding out what you were actually talking about. Now you don't just go away... you go away mad! Sad.

I'm very fond of Professor Sowell as I wish all black leaders were Phd's instead of "Reverends." I think Dr. Sowell and Walter Williams, Phd. are the epitome of solid intellect, even though as my name implies, I'm a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (Wasp). I'm truly puzzled what you find so disagreeable with Dr. Sowell's brief essay of astute observations.

I'm also quite fond of farmfriend and Countrydummy, so maybe we'll eventually find more common ground. I'm particularly fond of Grampa Dave and especially Carry Okie and I don't think you need to get sore over a slight missed communication. How 'bout it?
