[history]
As the Supreme Judicial Court decision allowing same-sex marriage was being hailed as a huge victory for gay and lesbian couples, largely lost in the celebration was recognition of an equally powerful benefit that flows from the ruling: the right to divorce.

But in a nation where roughly half of married couples split up, analysts expect that a similar number of gay couples who marry would also eventually seek to end their legal unions. "similar number"? It's going to approach 100%. Lawyers are going to love this.

"I think all hell is going to break loose when states have to begin to deal with the process of gay divorce," said John Mayoue, an Atlanta lawyer who has written extensively on same-sex unions. "I really think this is where the fight is going to come, and it's going to be chaos."
Think how difficult heterosexual divorce is. Gay divorce is going to be even more difficult.
Liberals are constantly trying to engineer social actions that turn against them. Then finally public opinion turns against them years later, after they have made a mess (welfare, abortion).
After gay marriage and divorce has made a shambles of our society, the same will happen here.

So now, homos will have to go through all the battle scars, and one member of the 'couple' will be stripped of their money, just like in hetero divorces.
Well, they asked for it.

Gay divorce is going to be even more difficult..."
Indeed. The New Hampshire Supreme Court recently ruled that "gay" sex is not adultery. So if a homosexual wants to cheat on his or her partner, they can do so with impunity.

"Without the automatic rights that a married couple gets, I'm entitled to absolutely zero," he said. And rightfully so. Just because you decided to shack up with someone doesn't mean you have any claim on them. If you wanted a life-long committment you should have sworn off your perversion, found a nice girl and married her.

...lost in the celebration was recognition of an equally powerful benefit that flows from the ruling: the right to divorce. And that will bring up many, many issues. Issues that we shouldn't have to consider if only the truth behind homosexuality were known.
