...reporters have respected.... Gee, anyone suppose that respect is due to the fact husband is pursuing an anti-Bush agenda?

It's all been a setup. I have no doubt in my mind. Next we'll see her in Larry Flint's rag.

Here's a scoop. A pic from Vanity Fair showing Valerie Plame on a mission from the early days.
To: Kay Soze
Half of Washington is "employed" like Plame.
She and her doofus husband are hypocrites.

I'm still waiting for the media examination of Mr. Wilson, his connections to the Kerry campaign, and possible lobbying for the anti-Iraq war Sadui govt.
Elsewhere he's been not acting as a neutral, but spinning the lamest Demo talking points.

Plame also mingled unobtrusively last month at a party at the home of The Washington Post's Ben Bradlee and Sally Quinn. But there has been an invisible bubble around her as reporters have respected the desire of "Jane Bond," as Wilson calls her, to remain in the Washington shadows. Her work was never a secret, thus there was nothing to investigate about Novak's article. And even if her work had been secret, she would have compromised her cover, when she worked together with her husband on their little caper. It would have compromised national security NOT to know who she was and the role she played.
And now, she goes out in public, and lets her husband talk about her precious privacy. All kinds of people see her, yet she plays the "privacy" game, and has herself "disguised" for VF. If anyone should be prosecuted, it's the Plames.

The January issue features a two-page photo of Wilson and the woman the magazine calls "the most famous female spy in America," a "slim 40-year-old with white-blond hair and a big, bright smile." They are sitting in their Jaguar. These to seem to be enjoying this attention a bit too much

Old Washington scandals never go away completely. Last week Monica complaining because she can't get a date. This week Linda Tripp talking about her new job and love life. Donna Rice keeps popping up from time to time. Just this morning I was wondering "whatever happened to Valerie Plame?"
To: Kay Soze
The media treated Linda Tripp in an utterly savage manner for pursuing a book deal while being a scandal figure. The fact that they elevate this schmuck and his broad even after they have done far worse media whoring is absolutely sickening.
Somehow I don't expect this story will get very much play in the "mainstream" press.
