If everyone in the household eats healthy and exercises then no-one's going to be packing on the pounds. Folks should do it for their health. What it does for one's looks is a bonus.
I agree. I haven't put on weight since I got married, but my husband has. He says we should buy more fruit and veggies and "eat healthy." I do most of the food shopping, so I buy things that I wouldn't touch...cauliflower, broccoli, turnips, etc...that he says he likes. I get REALLY tired of throwing them out when they've gone moldy. I joined a gym recently and, until I was knocked down by a horrible chest infection immediately followed by gastric flu (which is why I'm home today), I went three or four days a week. I got my husband a membership because he said he wanted one, but he never goes.
Sigh.
