O'Flaherty said. "One thing that is clear is that the same rights I enjoy as a traditional married person are going to be enjoyed by same-sex couples."

The Last Statement of this reporter gives his clue on which way he wishes things to go. So his quote from O'Flaherty is pure advocacy. But O'Flaherty's statement is only a pipe dream. Only a man and a woman can have all the rights and fullfillments of marraige... To bear Children, See the family multiply and make a legacy that lasts generations. Those are the real rights and priveleges of marraige and are sacred.

But I wish this reporter would consider the impact on CHILDREN that such a ruling would have. How many CHILDREN would loose a Mommy or Daddy from this ruling. How many more CHILDREN will be raped?

How much more Violence will it create in our streets? Homocides? Heaven forbid - Spousal Abuse.

A "Brave New World" they are trying to create and I don't think it would be a nice one.

too bad Mass.apparantly no longer has men of the charactar
that once marked their political representatives(John Q.
Adams etc. will not be consulted) But then the olagarchy of
Despots (the judiciary) has long ago rejected the genuine
source of republican principles (the Bible)and a people
no longer free are no longer willing to defend the Rule of
Law --Human Law must not contradict Divine Law, or human Law is invalidated.

It seems to me that nobody is talking about another option available to the legislature. They can impeach the Supreme Court judges in this decision for failing to live up to their oath to uphold the state constitution.

If we did this on the Federal level, we would have a lot less legislation created by our court system!

I would also note that under the "Separate but equal" doctrine of the three branches of government, no one branch is supreme. The Court does not have the authority to direct the Legislature to pass a specific law.

We'll soon find out. Adoption by homosexuals is already legal in Massachusetts.
