Shep Smith just announced on a Fox News Alert that both makers of the flu vaccine have announced that they are out of the vaccine.

Demand this year has been five time greater than in previous years.

Thanks for the ping, blam. If they're out of the vaccine, I guess nobody who doesn't want it will have to take it. I can't take it, I'm allergic, but if I could, I would. This year's promises to be a doozy, and I don't think it's alarmism.

Just curious - have you checked into the snorted version of the vaccine? I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, so my medical advice is pretty much worthless, but if you are interested enough it might be worth checking out.

Then again, it could be the egg thing, since I assume all of the vaccine is grown in eggs, which probably shouldn't change between the shot and the sniff.

Just a thought.
