It was in the news at the time and many people didn't like it. Quite appropriate, actually. But the real joke was Denny himself; especially how he "forgave" his attackers and then promptly sued the city of Los Angeles for damages. The guy was practically a parody of himself!

In law school I went to a Halloween party as Reginald Denny, the truck driver who got dragged out of his car at the riots and had his head smashed in w/a brick. Don't you know that merely pointing out the existence of racist hate crimes against whites is itself an example of white racism?

I suggest that the next time you receive a call from a student or someone from the alumni association at PSU, that rather than refusing the call, explain to them exactly why you refuse to contribute.
Like you, I am also a PSU alumni life member. Let them know we are sick and tired of their harrassment of conservative students and their endorsement of liberal causes.
When they adopt a politically neutral stand on issues, then I'll reconsider my donation position.

For organizations to have parties in which members are promoting that type of dissention is unacceptable I thought the libs had been screaming for months that dissent was patriotic?

I was in USG at PSU, and what I just read disgusts me. If it's not outright racism then it's a fatal case of stupidity and insensitivity.
When so-called conservatives dabble in racism, or appear to, a ton of bricks is just fine by me.
This little episode with the blackface will set conservatism on campus back years! Stupid stupid stupid.
