I've had thoughts along those exact lines too, but it seems that Algore wants in the mix now. I was wondering how long he was going to sit on the side-lines. He wants the presidency so very bad I'm sure he can taste it. If he doesn't make a move soon, he's HISTORY! I also think he's got some big grudge against the klintooons because no matter how you look at it, it was Billy who lost that election for Al. There never was a clear strategy on how to handle the scandal problems and poor Al got caught with no easy solution. Boy, would I have loved to be a fly on the wall at their last meeting after the 2000 election. I'm quite sure the conversation was colorful...to say the least.

Sure there was...but Klintoon was too much of a narcissist. Klintoon should have stepped down for the good of his party, when he was impeached. Gore should have stepped up and looked saintly, but he was too timid and never had any real leadership. He let the Klintoons run all over him. Gore should have stuck with his more moderate views...he would have been in a perfect position to take control, but instead he was listened to leftist lies and they burned him.
