That's specifically why some people don't like Jesus, the don't want to believe that God will judge them.
I have a rather unique take on
"Judge not lest ye be judged." I
want to be judged. And I want to be judged the way Christ, as God's representative, judges...with love, correction, and care. Christ never judged
people; that is, He never condemned their souls as without worth. If anything, He judged us all as being worth the supreme sacrifice...His own life in exchange for ours. But everyday Christ judged the sin that men do, and condemned it. (Ask the moneylenders who had the imprint of His sandel on their rumps as they were pitched out of the Temple for making something holy into nothing more than a shopping mall.)
As Christians, (that is, "Little Christs") we should be judging; we should be judging the deeds of men, calling evil evil and good good. And we should do it lovingly, as course correction, the way God through Christ judges us.
