This is not the time for Newt to give fodder to the press and the liberals. He is a member of the establishment not some Pat Buchanan screwball. His criticism of the war is not welcome at this time because of the relentless socialist attacks on the president. There are many instances in history where generals would go off and do their own thing to satisfy their ego... Newt just stroked himself at the cost of the party, he should be shunned

It seems he gives more ammunition to liberals, siding with them. What disturbs me is the notion that he knows what is going on in Iraq. My question would be; did he ever went there to see by his own eyes what progress was made? Or, is he listening to media to much?
