It was WONDERFUL! I'm so glad I went.

Yeah, me too, it was a great night. I couldn't believe how wild and crazy everyone was getting toward the end. Whoever thinks that conservatives don't know how to party ARE WRONG! lol

Lots of fun doing the camera crew stuff, and eating and drinking in between.

Camera crew? Were you in on making the video?

I even bought a black with rhinestones cowgirl hat in D.C. for the occasion. :-)

That's what they say, D.C. is the place to buy rhinestone cowboy hats. :^)

An interesting thing happened to us on the way back to the hotel, I had went to Washington DC and the Silverware party with two sisters from St. Louis. When the party was over and we all were outside and the concierges (or valets, whatever) were trying to get cabs for everyone a brand new Cadillac pulled up and the concierges told us to get in the Cadillac, I guess because of the girls. I said "Are you sure, is this a cab?". lol The concierge said it was OK, that he knew him. It must've been the way the guy was paying for his new Cadillac, giving rides to hotel patrons! Nice ride back, we were staying in Old Alexandria so it was a pretty good ride.

Well, THAT's been proved wrong! And it was fun, knowing that Cheney's party was in the same hotel ... in a disclosed location!

I was part of the two-Freeper camera crew. Freeper flyboy was doing the shooting, I was doing the signature-gathering for the releases, and Freeper-gathering for the cameraman. BIG fun!

What a great story! And what an inventive way to pay for the Caddy!
