If they do, I'll be surprised. They have an all-star at every position, and they're fixing to trade for the best pitcher in baseball.
We'll see what happens next year, but I have a feeling that the Yankees will be playing late into October.

The Yanks haven't won the Series since New York elected Hillary.
Let's hope this is the start of a long curse.

With all the talent they have had, any season that results in less than a championship is choking.

tell ya what....Boston needs a Rudy. A curse buster
just because and being a serious D Backs fan,Craig
Counsell went to the Brewers in a clearing house
deal for Richie Sexton. If I was Boston,I'd fetch Counsell
in a f'in heartbeat. No. Sooner.
and just to prove I know baseball, I'd make Bill Buckner
my manager. If Buckner was to rope a World Series with
what Boston is buildin' no town in sports would yell
louder for Boston and for Bill. Ever.

what a bunch of fools the dodgers will be if they make that trade.

and they're fixing to trade for the best pitcher in baseball. You couldn't be talking about Kevin Brown, could you? I might put Brown in the game's current top 20, but #1 ....puhleeze. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Brown has certainly been one of baseball's best during the past decade, but considering where he is at this stage of his career (especially with his injuries), I wouldn't place him among the elite. And he has never shown himself to be a big-game pitcher, which Pettitte has shown to be on countless occasions.
