The guy is a mental case... How come every time I see Pettitte pitch in the playoffs he's close to unbeatable?
He's a money pitcher when it's playoff time.

I was referring to Weaver being a mental case, not Pettitte. Yes, Pettitte has been a good big game pitcher. I'm not happy to see him go at all, I just think there are alternatives. He for sure won't win 21 games with the Astros with a 4.02 ERA and no closer. The fact that he agreed to a 3-year contract tells me he is not planning a long career.
