I havn't had the flu for at least 20 years. Last time I got the flu, I was 16 and got a flu shot at the High School(something they later stopped doing).

It's a bug. You catch it from other people. Wash your hands often. Stop breathing air infected by other people. The 3 sickest "cold/bronchitus" type years were the years I commuted by Bus into Manhatten. Nothing like riding in a virus rocket to compromise your immune system.

That said, I think this whole bit is hype. No real sign of Sars making a comeback so this is getting hyped.
