Saddam 'moved from Iraq'
Australia News ^ | Dec. 14, 2003 | AFP

SADDAM Hussein was no longer in Iraq, the US television network CBS reported today, citing unidentified military sources.

A CBS News correspondent in Saddam's northern Iraq hometown of Tikrit, near where Saddam was captured yesterday, said he had learned from military sources that the former Iraqi president was no longer in the country.

US Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez, the top US military commander in Iraq, said in Baghdad that Saddam "is currently under coalition custody and at an undisclosed location".

Saddam is a broken man -- great to see. :)

Someplace safe and secure. The number one priority is obtaining information on WMD.

Handcuffed next to a nuclear missle tube aboard one of our submarines.

It would be great to have someone onboard taunt him in Arabic routinely:
"Hey Saddam, we got your nuclear weapons right here, baby!"

Diego Garcia is my bet. Super hush hush. Far far away and with an interrogation staff waiting who have had practice on top Al Qaeada scum.

The mother of all interrogations.

Can you imagine how humiliating it is for Saddam to have to open his mouth and say "Aaaaa" at the command of an American soldier?!

Have you been reading Teddy Kennedy's talking points, which say that Bush just invented this whole war for political reasons? Is that what you claim too -- that Bush just made up the WMD?

Are you sure you are in the right forum? I think your notions would be well received at DU.

Give it up. The WMD is a red herring.

Iran was about to defeat Iraq when Saddam stated gassing them. Poison gas kept Saddam in power. Go read up on the Iran/Iraq war. One million Muslims killed by Muslims
