Saddam did have thousands of biochem suits. They were in storage and had been in storage for over eight years. They were not deployed with his troops. If you had WMD and intended to use them then you would deploy the biochem suits wouldn't you?

Uhhhhh, yea.

On Monday, Marines near the Iraqi navy port of Az Zubayar reported finding abandoned Iraqi military gear, including chemical suits.

British military officials said Thursday they found chemical weapons protection suits when Iraqi infantry abandoned a headquarters facility in the oil fields of southern Iraq.

In addition to the chemical suits, the Central Command reported earlier that Marines found and confiscated gas masks and nerve gas antidote injectors in the hospital near An Nasiriyah.

Thousands of chemical suits found at Iraqi positions, gas masks abandoned in trenches.

Not deployed?

Thanx, Tom, for digging up those blasts from the past. How soon they forget.
