I am a long time lurker and new poster, somewhere along the line I missed the "All your (whatever) are belong to us" reference. Just curious as to where it's from. Carry on.

It's from a bad translation of a Japanese game...

Simply put, the phrase (abbreviated AYBABTU) is derived from a really bad Japanese-to-English translation in a 10-year-old video game, Zero Wing.

The series thing also started much longer ago than people think. Hugh also started long ago!
