Republicans and conservatives were harshly criticized for supporting dictatorships during the Cold War. I could understand why we did. It kept things locked up, preventing them from going communist until we could win the war.
What is our rationale for supporting oppressive monarchies?
Arming and training the military of the country who supplied the manpower for 9/11 would be treason in other times.
