I'm acquainted with Tony Bell. He's not exactly Mr. Fun and he works an obscene ammount of hours. He's a very good guy to have handling money.

Thanks for your reply. I am just curious, how long did the terrorism go on for when we were in Germany?

How long has it been since we ended the war in Iraq?

It is true that problems do pop up. However, the amount of good that is happening is not being reported. I do not care what media outlet post the good news with the bad as long as the truth on all sides is told.

I find it so revolting from any press to push what side of the story they want and give it there own take on the news.

That is another reason I come here, To find BOTH sides of the story. This article comes form our friends down-under. Thats pretty sad that someone has to search the web for all of the news that goes with the story.

Have a great day!

I have seen many threads here that state it was several years before the Hitler followers stopped their resistance.

It took us at least two years in Germany and conditions were much more favorable; they were utterly defeated and surrounded by enemies who hated them.

Don't despair about the traditional mainstream media. The Internet has broken their monopoly. More and more people are turning to sites like this one where they can find alternate views supported by different facts.

Also, human beings are different. Some are optimists, some pessimists, some will see the bright side, others only misery and failure. A free press will always reflect the different outlooks. You can already observe that in the quotes from the Iraqi newspapers (in the article from Memri which I posted). Isn't it wonderful? ( no sarcasm :) )

The media was behind the war effort 100%, until the Democratic election campaign forced them to put a wet blanket on our success stories in Iraq in order that they may give the left a fighting chance to win the White House. My friend, I can assure you the Democrats have as much chance as a snow ball in hell to get even one state this coming election.

I would not get exited over their partiality. It is an American tradition to give both sides of the argument, the left, and the right. The right will sweep all the states, as well as capturing as much as four more Senate seats.

Thanks, PYW. I'm glad the list* is getting around and others are speaking out.

*We have the list covered at FR.....my original, 10/19 , as an e-mail from the troops: here, and picked up by Frontpagemag.com here on 12/3, then another e-mail here, and here, and now here.

LOL!

It is not whether your glass is half empty (pessimist) or half full (optimist).

Rather, it is what is in the glass!
