Is that a picture of the "spider hole" or the bedroom above the spider hole?

very interesting. And I'm LOL that the most interesting background stories don't come from American reporters.

Saddam was described as ‘Saddam the sellout” by US military officers

I thought it might take a couple months for him to sing. But Saddam probably thinks ('cause it's true) that everyone is his enemy, not deserving of his loyalty or confidence.

"Of course, on top of that, he had the closest relationship to #2, but still played the field with five additional mistresses, jacked up on Viagra, having fun every night here and there until the war."

Meet me at the spiderhole later, we will feed my pet rats bread crumbs and then take turns trying on brand my new t-shirts.

But once he started 'singing' about the underground fighters, the US got even more information on anti-US resistance elements in Iraq and detained them, too.

Saddam is such an arrogant dunce, he probably thinks he can outsmart the interrogators. All they want is for him to keep talking, and trying to outsmart them. Then, when he lets slip something that matches other intel, they bag somebody else.

I think that Saddam's associates, especially lower level ones, are singing because they have something to gain, e.g. not getting executed by the Iraqis.

But Saddam knows that he is going to die no matter what he says. He has no incentive to "sing". I believe that his "singing" is disinformation being put out to try to coerce/cajole the underlingings to sing.

he married a German woman, #4 Wife, Iman Fuwaishu (spelling) just last year

I found this obscure line very interesting.

First when refering to Islamic militants who just happen to reside in Western countries, I really think there should be a better term than "German woman" or "Canadian citizen", it is very misleading. One tends to think of, say in the case of a German woman, something very different.

Secondly, I wonder how it is Saddam comes to meet and marry a German woman such as this?

Oh Europe, you have some very large problems.

Three Relevent Poems

Saddam

They found him in a spider hole,
Just like we knew they would.
Though we are glad I'm sure the Dems,
Feel this is not too good.
I'm sure they all are saddened now,
For Saddam's in our hand.
The French, the Germans, chant along,
The Russians lead the band.
They want the contracts to rebuild,
The Dems want Bush to fail.
Death for Saddam is too swift,
Let’s let him rot in jail.
Congratulations to our troops,
And to our leader here.
George Bush is still the man to lead,
He gets my vote next year.

Conspiracy Guy 12/14/03

Cowards

They recently found Saddam,
Hiding in his pit.
I hope this is a warning,
Cowards are not fit.
They do not lead but threaten,
Their people to obey.
They rape and kill their people,
All to get their way.
But take away that power base,
Watch the roaches slide.
Death is for their underlings,
Cowards, they just hide.

Conspiracy Guy 12/15/03

Howie

Your comments really crack me up,
I’d have to say you’re funny.
As funny as a hemorrhoid,
Or as a nose that’s runny.
Saddam’s capture no big deal,
Your stance is still the same.
You’re really sucking big on this,
I’d say your brain is lame.
But tell me Howie I must know,
These speeches just who writes them?
Katie Couric comes to mind,
Or Michael Moore is it him?
Well Doctor Dean you make me sick,
For malpractice, I will sue you.
Please get a clue, I’ll sell you one,
John Kerry needs a few too.

The U.S. was greatly assisted by a sophisticated “elint” (electronic eavesdropping) operation involving good cooperation by US, Australian, and British intelligence.

As the terms are normally used in the intelligence community, "SIGINT" (signals intelligence) consists of: (1) "COMINT" (communications intelligence) (voice and other text communications) and (2) "ELINT" (electronic intelligence) (other signals).

Since the story talks about things like intercepted telephone conversations (COMINT), I think he should have used the term "SIGINT", rather than "ELINT".

Will Saddam qualify for the new Medicare prescription plan for those Viagra tablets?

Cordially,
