"She's only endorsing him because she has an uniform fetish." I have always known that a "an" preceeds any word starting with a vowel, but "an uniform" seems awkward to me. I remember a controversy when Time magazine printed a cover that said "An Historic Event" or something like it. I guess there are no hard rules.

Well I guess Clark has the nut and slut vote just about locked up. Only the aged, has-been nut and slut vote ---- Britney Spears hasn't come out with her endorsement yet to tell us which way the younger nut and slut vote will go.

** Camille Paglia said that the entire plot of Madonna's book was about how her daughter's classmates were so mean to Lourdes because her daughter's so beautiful. Talk about making your kid a target for life! **
well, Camille got it wrong.. it is not about her daughter.. she took influences from her children and her own experiences to write the lovely lil book.
~~~ The English Roses is a story of rivalry and friendship among schoolgirls in contemporary London. Four little girls-Nicole, Amy, Charlotte, and Grace-are eleven years old and the very best of friends. They have sleepovers, picnics and ice-skating parties that exclude Binah, a beautiful girl whose seemingly perfect life makes them "green with envy." However, when a feisty, pumpernickel-loving fairy godmother takes them on a magical journey, they learn to their great surprise that Binah's life is not nearly as enviable as it had seemed. The English Roses is an inspiring story about the importance of compassion and the rewards of friendship.
---Camille got it wrong.---
Maybe so, but she's more entertaining than Madonna. Does Madonna like guns? Camille likes guns.
Seriously though, if Madonna's books teach kids something about compassion and friendship then good for her.
