Did you hear what Rangel said on an open mic when they were going to the first commercial break?

He started by saying "This program is a ..." and I did not catch the rest, but it did not sound like something good.

Well they got good intel from that hole and have taken other mooks into custody because of it. In fact they are running an op today I believe based on intel that rathole Hussein had with him. Evidently Charlie is wrong again.

Rangle is a schmuck. Nothing done under a Republican administration would please him. Bush could pass every socialist program he has been wanting passed for years, and he would still not be happy with it. He makes me glad my tv remote has a 'mute' button. I can't stand the bloviating buffoon.

According to reports, some of the papers Saddam had with him in his hole included names of some insurgent leaders in Bagdad.

Also, the papers had names of some insurgents who had infiltrated into the Iraqi Council and military installations (as translators, helpers, etc.)

Rangel reminds me of old Irish pols from Boston, partisan always but always common man and common sense. And he is right. Sadaam controlled nothing but about two guys who guarded him and he and them may have been held captive once in the hole and sold out to us.

It doesn't matter anyway if Rangel is right. The POTUS said that Sadaam's capture would mean nothing to ending attacks against our troops in Iraq.

Charlie Rangel didn't coordinate resistance, but he surely encouraged it, as did his liberal pals....

David Horsey's latest political cartoon is very good--it shows the entrance to Saddam's hiding place. The inscription on the cover stone reads "Democratic Presidential Nomination".

The link is seattlepi.nwsource.com/horsey
(I don't know how to make it clickable)

A briefcase was found with Saddam.

Inside the briefcase were notes (coordinating the "provinces"), contact names, phone numbers, and money ($750,000).

To shut up Charlie, simply tell the truth.

"Yes, there is evidence that suggests that Saddam was involved in the coordination of attacks not only upon coalition members, but attacks upon percieved political enemies such as the great Iraqi Shia Imam Muhammed Haj Khoemoeni. And yes, evidence also exists that Saddam participated in the planning, training, and coordination of attacks that occurred in New York City on September 11, 2001, and training Islaminazi's from Halfgonistan in explosives, chemical agent dispersion techniques, and money laundering through the "oil for food" program.

Rangel is asking "Is there any evidence that the rat in the hole coordinated resistance?"

Open letter to Rangel:

Charlie can't you keep your mouth shut?

Give us and yourself a break!

There is no such thing as good news with these people. The marching orders are; when bad news comes in complain, when good news comes in complain even more. The Demcrats say every thing this administration does is staged and they figure that be cause Boll Clinton staged every damned thing he did.

If George Bush handed over a universal cure for cancer the Democrats would claim that it would contribute to over population.

Apparently not. I guess we'll have to settle for the death penalty, then. I was hoping for Double Secret death, but Rangel wins again.

Rangel is shouting down the wrong rat-hole. He is looking more and more ridiculous the more he rants about this war.

Here's a clue to the left. Sadaam and OBL are not coordinating anything except their own survival. They are, however, focal points and rallying points for those people that would do America harm. I would go so far as calling them living martyrs. Capturing them in a humiliating way will reduce the effect of their living martyrdom.

America is safer today because suicide bombers that saw Sadaam unwilling to fight or die might be a little reluctant to strap on a bomb in the name of returning him to power.
