BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Leading human rights organization Amnesty International has branded as humiliating the publication of a new photo of Saddam Hussein.
An Iraqi newspaper on Thursday published the picture of the deposed Iraqi president in captivity, and Baghdad residents were hurrying to buy copies, said CNN correspondent Satinder Bindra.

I'm sorry! Maybe I missed it. But what did they say about the treatment of Jessica Lynch?

You can't humiliate a corpse.

Where were these guys while Saddam and his sons were murdering, raping, and torturing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis?
To: vladog
Sometimes, Amnesty Int'l gets it right. This is not one of those times.

"but not with those that showed him being medically examined"
Good grief. It's not as though they showed him disrobed, getting a protate exame. They were looking in his mouth and at his head.
By the way, I think it was wise to share the video of Saddam being examine. That way, it is proven that we are treating him humanely and giving him medical care.

How many Cuban slave laborers did it take for Clinton to satisfy his chunky intern with that cigar.

They ARE sobbing for the Devil himself.
To the left, the most heinous of sins is to "offend" or "humilitate" someone. Forget plastic shredders...God forbid we should ever offend someone!

Amnesty International: Desperate and trying to remain relevant.
To: vladog
Actually, a picture of Saddam shorn and shaved and cleaned up, standing between a couple of guards, would have served the purposes of identification just as well, if not better, than showing him in the middle of a physical exam and in a confrontation with Chabadi (sp?). There can be little question that Amnesty International is right on the money; these particular pictures were intended to humiliate Saddam and cut his public image down.
But reducing the legend of Saddam to a humiliating reality probably saved lives. Doing that to a regular POW would serve no such purpose. So I've got no problems with what was done.

They're confused. We solved one of their problems, and they've never had to deal with results. Like most RATS they don't know how to be happy and stop b*tching.

Amnesty International has branded as humiliating the publication of a new photo of Saddam Hussein. Just wait until they see the photos of Saddam wearing women's underwear.
