I predict that Dean will be left reeling after he wins the primary only to have the rug pulled out from under him when he discovers that most of his support came from Republicans who will vote for Bush in the general election. Go, Dean, GO!

From the Article: "There are five or six people running for president right now who have a chance at winning," Dean said. "I'm the only person who has done anything about trying to get health care."

-----
What is this but a "bitter attack"???

Dizzy Dean is punch-drunk. Doesn't he know that's how you win a fight, by punching, counter-punching and absorbing punches that you can't quite duck out of the way of. I think he forgot to duck a few times too many.

MAQUOKETA, Iowa (AP) — Howard Dean appealed to fellow Democratic presidential candidates Saturday to stop the bitter attack politics that have come to dominate the race for the party's nomination. The race needs "a little character transplant," he said.

Translation: Your attacks that point out my flip-flopping and flat out lying are working, please stop!

They would have to have a character to begin with in order to have a transplant...

Wasn't there a freeper joke about approaching a Peace protester and popping him hin the kisser. And when he goes to retaliate, you say, "Don't do that! You believe violence in wrong, right?" "Oh, yeah, dude, sorry." And then you pop him in the kisser again. Repeat as necessary.

I don't know if that was a joke going around but I've more than once advanced that idea in dealing with far left morons.

My suggestion was whacking them good, then offering to negotiate not to hit them again, then hit them again, then get a third party involed to arbitrate, sign more papers of assurance, then kick them in the groin, then say you won't do it again, sign some more papers to that effect, ask the UN to get involved, then whack them with a baseball bat across the knees...etc.

Dean argued that his 12 years as governor of Vermont give him experience unmatched by his rivals and a record that draws the sharpest contrast with President Bush.

LOL. That's not something to be bragging about right now

No, Howard, there can be only one!
He is already President.

There are twice as many people in the county I live in than are in the whole state of Vermont.

I guess my county executive has more experience than Dean does then. And if you get right down to it, he does. He is a retired US Marine who then became very successful at running very large corporations. Dean has been nothing but a political hack for his entire adult lefe.

"It's not necessary to tear down the other opponents," said Dean

Not if you're leading, it isn't.
