I saw the Joe Namath interview in its entirety and it wa clear that Joe was hammered! He was leaning towards the woman and trying to kiss her and she kept backing away. He was slurring his words and very incoherent. Also, Joe looked like he was 80 years old. Broadway Joe has definitely put some mileage on the odometer. Looks like he's done some hard living since he hung up his spikes.

Anyway, Joe Namath reminds me a lot of Bobby Orr. Both athletes revolutionized their games and for a few short years, they were the very best. But then their knees gave out and their careers were prematurely cut short. Only difference is Bobby Orr still looks like he's 30 years old, even today.

Good game tonight. The Pats have now won 11 straight games by 14 points or less. Five interceptions on Chad Pennington.

The New York Post is going to be all over this tomorrow (Joe Namath AND the five picks on Chad).

Nice analogy. The same applies for Gale Sayers, except he never won a championship, but, for a few seasons, they all did incredible things.
