Had Jefferson and the other founders taken the route these revisionists think they should, there would be no court system for them to enjoy their "games".

Amazing what foolishness sprouts from idleness.

"I think this trial proves that the French language in Louisiana is alive and well," said John Hernandez III, one of the main organizers of the trial."

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Sort of ironic that a guy named "Hernandez" is babbling about preserving the FRENCH language in Louisiana.

"He (Jefferson) is the founder of the demo rat party what more would you expect, along with Jackson, probably did more to enslave people and practice genocide that any other president, except FDR."

Maybe we should dig up all those evil white slave-owning founding fathers and extradite them to be tried by the Euro-weenies at the Hague. Would that make you happy? I'm guessing you also support "reparations".

Give me a freakin' break!! I hate these show trials in which modern thought and philosophy are applied to people who have been dead for 200 years or so.

It's just historical revisionism and Scalia should know better than to participate in this foderol.

Thomas Jefferson was indeed guilty of prolonging slavery...

and founding the Demon-rat party in 1792 so the hypocrisy may live on. Why so many blacks are pro-demon-rat is something I`ll never understand in a million years. I mean next thing you know, they`ll find some former KKK guy in that party, and...and...oh, wait a minute...

Nope just saying, the rats are following their roots as laid out by the founders, slavers, etc.

Now understand I am not saying anything negative about a founding father after all they are the deities of our secular nation, but when the rats celebrate with their Jefferson Jackson day dinners, look at their records and see what they are celebrating, genocide, forced movement of indigenous peoples, etc.

Just saying it kind of parallels the principles of the current rat party.

On Dec. 20, 1803, the American flag was hoisted in the Place d'Armes, now Jackson Square.

At over 800,000 square miles, the Louisiana Purchase effectively doubled the size of the United States. This territory (costing about 4 cents per acre) would eventually become part or all of fifteen states: Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, North Dakota, Texas, South Dakota, New Mexico, Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Colorado and Montana.

Now thats worth celebrating.

Attacking the founding fathers as evil racist genocidal white guys is a tactic of the far left. Besides, have you seen the 2000 electoral map? The base of the current GOP is the formerly democrat Southern states which made up the Confederacy. So your leftist agit-prop doesn't quite wash.

According to John Adams Jefferson should have been found guilty 200 years ago.

"According to John Adams Jefferson should have been found guilty 200 years ago."

Adams was from Massechusetts, right? Isn't that one of those socialist blue zone Democrat states?

What does the last name Hernandez have to do with this discussion? Do you have a problem with people who have the name Hernandez?

"What does the last name Hernandez have to do with this discussion? Do you have a problem with people who have the name Hernandez?"

I simply thought that was quite ironic (in a humorous way) that a person named Hernandez (obviously a descendant of the SPANISH settlers in Louisiana), is touting the preservation of the FRENCH language in Louisiana.

And yes, I am qualified to have an opinion, as I was born and raised in Louisiana and know the history of both groups. I went to college with a fellow from Nachitoches whose last name was Sepulveda (another Louisiana Spanish surname), and he was one of the biggest REDNECKS I ever met.

I noticed you registered on Freerepublic tommorrow. Care to explain yourself? I automatically assume new posters are leftist infiltrators until proven otherwise. You are particularly suspect because of your fishy sign-up date. I'll be watching you.
