Isnt this the same kid who was seriously wounded as a young child in a car accident? I believe he may have been permanently mentally affected by that incident. I feel bad for him and I refuse to rejoice in anything like this about him.

Doesn't this say volumes about Algore's parenting skills?/sarcastic question regarding a parallel universe in which Algore won Florida and the media's response to above situation.

Isnt this the same kid who was caught in South Carolina doing a hundred miles per hour. I too dont feel like picking on the kid because he is Al Gores son , but it sounds like he may need to be taken in tow and taught to respect the law and the lives of other folks , no matter who his dad is.

You should be ashamed in taking delight of Gore's kid's demise. Yeah he screwed up. But taking delight in this is just as wrong/hypocritical as taking delight when Bush's daughters got in trouble with the law.

Think before you post ding-a-ling.

Surely we can do better than this feeding frenzy on the Gores, because the son, aged 21, was caught with a bit of pot in his car. There, but for the grace of God, go I.

I wonder when the drug warriors will chime in to this thread saying that nobody gets arrested for marijuana possession? ;-)

This is not his first drug arrest. The kid has a history. The first time was a few weeks before election 2000, but the press quietly buried it. They had no problems bringing up a 24-year-old DUI against Bush, however.
