My all time favorite "Bombing" was when a bunch of extreme left wing hate filled sickos in the Weathermen underground blew themselves to bits at their brownstone hidehout in Manhattan while trying to make a bomb that they intended to detonate at a military dance event. Left wingers still leave flowers at the site every year.

In the 70's bombs were going off monthly in NYC and guess who the perps were? Those FALN Puerto Rican terrorists that Bill Clinton pardoned to give Hillary the NYC vote!

That the Croatian bomber Busic was at LaGuardia the previous day is as irrelevant as the fact that Golda Meir had passed through the terminal one hour before. Remarkable coincidences happen all the time. I was just reading the other day that the son of Abraham Lincoln was present at the assassinations of both Pres. Garfield and Pres. McKinley.

Interesting story. I remember I was watching a game at MSG between St, John's and Indiana when I heard about the blast. However it's not the 2nd deadliest attack. In the early '20s a bomb killed a score of people on Wall Street, and the Fraunces Tavern bombing was also very deadly though I don't recall the casualties off hand.
