AOL is nothing but crap. And, just try to terminate your account on their website. You weren't trying hard enough. Just go into one of the homosexual chat rooms with your flamethrower set to "incinerate." Back around 1995 we used to have contests to see who could get an account terminated fastest. My record time was 45 seconds.
